transparent openstreetmap layer

Chris has made a transparent openstreetmap layer, utilizing tilecache and mapnik configured for transparencies

with a neat overlay opacity control too.

  1. Very nice. The overlay lines up perfectly. I wonder why that might be? ;-)

  2. Why? It’s because open street mappers are on the street, gps in one hand, notebook, camera in the other ;-)
